When Sons & Daughters opened at the corner of Bush and Powell in 2010, it was a kind of cowboy in the culinary no-man's-land straddling Union Square and Nob Hill. An early comer to the neighborhood that would eventually be home to Del Popolo and, a few blocks away, Akiko's and Liholiho Yacht Club, the restaurant’s Tendernob address remains an unusual one for the kind of tasting-menu-only experience that garnered the restaurant its second Michelin star in 2024.
Today, Sons & Daughters is inspired by the spirit of new Nordic cuisine, rooted in classical cooking techniques, and centered around sustainability and seasonality with a focus on celebrating the abundance of Northern California. Read more on 7x7.com.
